About

Pocket Verdict started as a group chat where three friends kept sending each other links to weird little games we found late at night. At some point we realized we were writing longer messages than most published reviews, so we moved everything onto a proper site.,We only cover games we've actually installed and played, usually for several evenings. No press-kit paraphrasing, no scores based on a trailer. If a game frustrated us or bored us halfway through, we say so, and we explain exactly why.,Our picks lean indie because those are the games that surprise us most. A solo developer working on something odd often teaches us more about design than a polished studio release. We hunt across every genre, not just the safe puzzle crowd.,Nobody here is on a payroll from a publisher. We buy or download the games ourselves, and the site runs on our own time. That independence is the whole point.

Katarzyna Nowak — Katarzyna has been reviewing mobile games for about eight years and still keeps a battered phone just for testing the ones that eat batteries. She's the one who insists we finish a game before scoring it.
