Lantern Hollow

Lantern Hollow was the surprise of the month for us. You wander a hand-drawn village at dusk, solving small environmental puzzles to relight lanterns and coax out its story. There's no combat, no fail state, just curiosity pulling you forward.

The pacing is slow in the best way. Each area reveals a little more about who lived here, told through notes and gentle animation rather than cutscenes. We finished it in one long sitting and immediately wanted to go back for the corners we'd missed. It's short, but it stays with you.
